Hmm.. Let's continue from the previous post, health benefits of dark chocolate..

As I have mentioned in my previous post, Dark chocolate is loaded with lots of antioxidants, which are nowadays the booster for humans to overcome all sorts of diseases which are attacking us without any incidence related to age, sex, race, genetic factors..And hats off to all the scientists who have discovered these antioxidants, hidden in all natural foods. But most of the foods available nowadays are  actually modified by processing the natural food and adding artificial, colourful, attractive masks to all the foods given by Nature God to us and turning them into villains to attack our body on long run.

And to your surprise where the natural foods are available at a modest price the artificially flavoured or masked foods costs you more, not only financially but sadly you guys have to pay the price for your health too:-(

Why all the  breathtaking discussion above is, to make you guys aware of the difference between the original dark chocolate which has more than 70% of cocoa in it and the artificially flavoured sweet chocolates which are loaded with more percentages of sugar and butter which are nowadays the main culprits of metabolic diseases along with lack of physical activity.

Now, the cocoa has shown in advanced researches that it really helps in increasing your memory potential and even kids can benefit from this cocoa as it will make their maths to be on their tips:-) and answer before the teacher completes the sum;-) How many of you have raised your hands to answer the questions in advance and have really experienced the real kick in answering when no one answers:-) I have experienced it during my school days;-)

Cocoa extract called lavado, helps in keeping the blood flow in brain healthy and all the functions of brain will obviously be perfect when the blood flow is perfect..Right!! In this way cocoa, is helpful in reducing stroke.

Cocoa also is know to improve insulin sensitivity and thus helps in preventing type 2 Diabetes mellitus and keep your sugar levels normal.

Always, have heard of mom's screaming, not to eat chocolate, whenever we have cough.. But guess what!! If you eat the dark cocoa chocolate or even have hot cocoa milk, it helps in relieving you from cough. Wondering how?? The Theobromine, a chemical which is known to suppress the activity of vagus nerve in brain thus suppressing the cough is present in the super food- cocoa(dark chocolate) Wow..How nice would it be to  replace our cough syrup with a glass of hot cocoa drink:-)

During 16th century, the South Americans and even Europeans happened to use cocoa powder to treat Diarrhoea.. Another interesting use of dark chocolate.

As described in olden days as "food of Gods"  and there will be a reason behind every description or a title given to any food or person, and here the reason is that the cocoa contains a compound which is named as pentameric procyanidin which puts a brake on the cancer cells so that they cannot multiply as fast as they do thus increasing the life expectancy.

Hmm..Quite powerful and thoughtful and worth making a habit of including a piece of dark chocolate  atleast 3-4 times a week. Isn't it friends!
